ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS ON THIS APPARENT INVITATION TO ELECTORAL FRAUD?

Once again, as with all of these things seen on social media, I cannot guarantee that this is genuine. However, according to my twitter source, it is the real thing.

Can anyone really confirm this or does anyone have proof that it is a spoof?

If it's true, isn't it incitement to fraud?

After all I have several friends in France, Jersey, America and England who very much want an independent Scotland. But much though I want it, it wouldn't  ever have occurred to me to offer them the use of my address. We'll need to look out for the population of the Western Isles expanding...

All comments welcome.

(Yes Niko, even yours, but maybe in Latin this time?)

  1. There are quite a few holiday homes throughout the highlands. Is anyone checking to see if people are registering there?

    1. Good point, and, of course you can register with your sister, mum, dad, cousin...mates.

Of course that works for both sides, but is any check being made on it.

Do you think this is a genuine post from BT?

Would they be that stupid...or that confident?

Yeah Labour have form in this area don't they. Be interesting to see if more people vote who are entitled in Labour Glasgow.

    1. Yes they do have form on it. I think in Birmingham...

But as Slab takes its orders from London, the border poses no obstacle.

  3. Postal voting should never have been allowed. I hope measures have been taken to secure all the postal votes after they have been counted. They may need to be checked afterwards.

    1. Of course they will. I mean you don;t think some moronic noodle headed election official will put them all in black bin bags and leave them just beside the bins do you? Oh yeah, wait a minute...

    2. Erm What?

No. If there was an anti nonsense filter Niko would never be able to comment. You probably pressed the wrong button.

Fancy being drunk at this time in the morning. You islanders. I dunno.

  5. Right, here we go again.

I seem to remember something like this before as the reference to cheap housing seems to ring a bell. Considering that Brian Wilson lives up here - I often see him in the golf club - and that Darling occasionally lives up here nothing would surprise me. I don't know how I could accommodate all of Munquin's fan so that they could vote up here but it would be a hell of a party!

I read somewhere that around a third of votes could be postal - that cannot be correct, can it?

    3. I would stick to the Anglo-Saxon if I were you. You know that Niko is easily confused. I've just remember that around 6,000 from Glenrothes took their holidays at the time of the bye-election. Nothing to do with Labour eh?

    4. Well somehow I think there are one or two Wingers going to be at the counts, Stu is arranging things, see his tweet(wee moan) about having to contact 32 separate Polling officials, I do hope there is no repeat of the Glenrothes situation and that the Polis is called in if there is any suggestion of Jiggery Pokery,
Have to say my command of the English Language is no better this morning.
